Silmara, a young industrial worker of exuberant beauty is a sexy icon for her friends, neighbors and co-workers. She supports her ex-convict arsonist father, whom she lives with and has an ambiguous relationship with a dance teacher named Regina. Silmara gets involved with two good looking and tacky pop-stars, and faces a paradox: her beauty draws the ugly side of human nature. In her search for pleasure, Silmara, like all of us, is also subject to finding pain and learns some traumatic life lessons.
