Очень красивый фильм о полярном сиянии. К тому же весьма познавательный. Крис Линтотт отправляется к радару в северной Норвегии для того, чтоб проследить, как возникают эти волшебные лучи, которые будоражили воображения людей по всему земному шару. Патрик Мур обсуждает со своими собеседниками о роли солнечной активности и солнечного ветра в формировании северного сияния. Так же, в этом выпуске передачи представлена информация о последних данных с Марса, где были отображены локализованные молекулы метана. Патрик обсуждает возможность, что метан был синтезирован какими-то неизвестными бактериями, хотя есть и другие, не связанные с живыми организмами, возможности синтеза метана на Марсе. Так же рассказывается о комете Лулинь и о том, что масса нашей галактики оказалась больше, чем считалось ранее.
